BTS Look Book Spring/Summer
Last week we had a great photo shoot in the heart of Orange County: Laguna Beach & Balboa Island! We were ecstatic to be where Melie Bianco first became known to the public and couldn’t wait to start shooting!
We started prepping in our offices by gathering up the clothing which was donated by BB Dakota, Lovemarks and Ashlee Brooks. Then the fun part began, STYLING! We had a great time putting different outfit combinations together and adding in fun jewelry pieces from Adia Kabur, Tai and Belisimia jewlery brands!

The first day we shot a majority of our fun shots. Picture this, two girls on a road trip and stopping to do everything they can possibly do as a tourist in Southern California. Not too shabby right? Our gorgeous models, Jessica and Angel, got to ride on a ferris wheel, take a spin on a sail boat, ride beach cruisers, a surrey and eat lots of taffy during a candy shop scene. The best part about the first day of shooting, besides the great weather and fun shots, was our main prop Butter! The adorable french bulldog puppy belongs to a friend of our graphic designer and allowed us to use him for the shoot. Needless to say, he was a HUGE hit with everyone on the island! After a long first day of shooting we took it easy that night with a group dinner. The second day was filled with sand and surf shots all over Laguna Beach. We went from the rocks on the beach, to eating ice cream at a local shop, played a little sand volleyball and ended the day at a gazebo over looking the ocean. The views were breathtaking, but don’t just read about it, take a look for yourself!

The third and final day was also shot in the heart of Laguna. We started the day out doing some shots throughout the city and giving it a more urban appeal, only to end the day with a BEAUTIFUL picnic filled with delectable mini cakes, custards, cookies and root beer soda!

The girls were more than happy to engage in such an intimate, yet adorable scene and our crew was thankful to be able to indulge in all of the sweet treats after the filming was wrapped. All in all we had a great look book shoot and couldn’t have asked for a better time! We can’t wait to see how Isaac’s pictures turn out and get the look book from the print shop into all of our Melie Girl’s hands!
